Si Rawlinson is a London-based British Chinese actor and artist, born in Hong Kong to English and Chinese parents. With family spread across the UK and the US, he’s equally at home speaking in a neutral American accent or polished English RP.
He is the Artistic Director of the boundary-pushing theatre company Wayward Thread, a Resident Creative at Curve Theatre, and formerly Associate Artistic Director at Kakilang, championing the voices and stories of East and Southeast Asian artists and communities. His work has been performed at leading venues across the UK, including Sadler’s Wells, Southbank Centre, Barbican, The Place, Birmingham Hippodrome, Nottingham Playhouse, and Curve Theatre Leicester.
On stage and screen, Si’s credits include Kazego in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Olivier Award–winning production of My Neighbour Totoro on London’s West End, and roles in feature films like The Conjuring: Last Rites and The Marvels.
