Trained at the Fourth Monkey Theatre Company, Daniel is a highly physical actor whose work blends creature performance, movement, and dance with emotionally honest acting, grounded in over ten years of martial arts and physical theatre training. He has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and Asia, and received an Offie nomination for Best Performer for his portrayal of Joseph Merrick in The Elephant Man during his first UK tour.
In 2025, Daniel appeared as a principal movement artist in an award-winning Xbox commercial directed by David Fincher and Romain Chassaing. He is experienced across stage and screen, with training in motion and performance capture, mime, puppetry, and stage combat. He is also closely associated with companies including Flabbergast Theatre and Shapes in Motion, where he works as part of the workshop team supporting creative communities.
Alongside performing, Daniel is an active creator and deviser. Recent work includes Paper Swans by Vyte Garriga at Soho Theatre in 2025, earning him another Fringe Theatre Award nomination. He is also a passionate folk singer and sea shanty performer, with a deep, soulful baritone voice.
