Jon Maddocks - Squadron 42 Argus Showreel
His initial foray into voice acting began in his teenage years, performing mostly for short films and small game projects, and later providing voice over work for a feature film during his time studying Filmmaking at The University of York. He re-entered the world of voice acting while attending the University of Salford during his MA Acting for Screen course, reigniting his love for the art, and spent his time studying voice over for animation, gaming, and dubbing. During his degree he worked on several short films and radio plays, voicing a multitude of characters each necessitating completely different styles of performance, from kindly video game merchants, to monstrous demonic villains.
Since graduating, he has worked closely with Cloud Imperium Games on their upcoming game Squadron 42 playing the UEES Argus, along with multiple other roles across the verse and their other game Star Citizen. From NPCs and walla work, to being part of a male choir performing an alien language, it has been an amazing project to be a part of that has constantly pushed him as a performer.
