Excellent Talent’s very own Rachael Naylor has always been one to think big. Since establishing The VoiceOver Network in 2013, she has aimed to bring voice actors together, and speak up for them in the wider industry. Through workshops, networking events and webinars, the Voiceover Network has connected many Voice Over artists with the best casting directors, agents and producers in the business!

Now, Rachael is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with Spotlight, the most extensive and best known casting directory in use today. This groundbreaking collaboration means that voice actors will receive the recognition they deserve. Moreover, many of the areas within the voice acting world, which were not recognised within the system before, such as video games and animations, will be awarded acting credits; a development facilitated by a change in the directory’s application process.

As a partnership, Spotlight and The VoiceOver Network aim to focus on maximising the exposure of Voice Over artists and elevating their profile. Both organisations are aware of the rise in audio-visual media online, and The VoiceOver Network have thus called for more backing from the industry, recognising the work of a Voice Over artist as an often “isolated existence”.
